Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Punjab Kings by eight wickets on Sunday, April 9.
Kavya Maran, owner of SRH, could be seen yelling at the cameraman during the altercation.
Kavya Maran, the owner of Sunrisers Hyderabad, frequently makes appearances at sporting events to promote her team and is frequently praised on social media for her adorable appearance. Kavya had been in front of the camera for some time, but on Sunday (April 9), during her team’s game versus Punjab Kings, she appeared to be displeased with the photographer. (PBKS).
At the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, SRH played PBKS in the 14th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. SRH won the match by an eight-wicket margin. It’s noteworthy because it was the Punjab-based team’s first loss of the year.
After being asked to bat first, PBKS had a rocky start and could only muster 143/9 in the allocated 20 overs. Shikhar Dhawan was the only player for his team, and he brilliantly hit 99 runs off just 66 balls, including 12 fours and 5 sixes. With the exception of the captain Dhawan, the PBKS side’s batters were all unable to get going, and the team was forced to settle for an average total. The 37-year-old left-handed hitter for Punjab, though, managed to avoid being dismissed and kept his team from losing. In the meantime, Mayank Markande was SRH’s best bowler, taking four wickets for just 15 runs in his four allotted overs.
Kavya, the owner of SRH, was irritated to see Dhawan standing rock-steady on one end, and she took her wrath out on the cameraman. She was heard begging the camera to leave after being displayed on the large screen by stating, “Hatt rey.” The video of Kavya’s response quickly became popular online.

Resuming the game, SRH successfully completed the target in 17.1 overs with just the loss of two wickets. For the Hyderabad-based team, Rahul Tripathi stole the show with a scorching 74 off just 48 balls. During his innings, Rahul smashed ten fours and three sixes. Aiden Markram, his skipper, also contributed a pivotal 37 runs off 21 balls. The pair guaranteed that their team easily attained the goal and went undefeated in the contest.
However, despite taking one wicket apiece for PBKS, Arshdeep Singh and Rahul Chahar were unable to stop the Hyderabad batters from scoring freely.
