After receiving plaudits from his hero for his outstanding performance in Brazil’s 4-1 victory against Korea Republic in the round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM, Richarlison said, “I can’t even speak.”
He said, “Mic him up,” said Ronaldo. I need to learn the pigeon dance, you know. Even Tite was dancing.
“There are still three left. Three more games remain. You will have my [2002] haircut in the final.
Richarlison addressed the camera and said, “I get emotional to see him because he is my idol, much as Neymar. You were my childhood hero,” he said, addressing Ronaldo. “I imagine you’ve seen a lot of pictures of me with that hairdo already,” I said.
Ronaldo remarked, “What I did for you, to motivate you, now it’s your turn.” “With your art, your objectives, the joy with which you play, your spontaneity, and your feelings, you inspire millions of Brazilians, millions of children in Brazil.
“We take great pride in you. We’re giving you a lot of support. A nice strike was made today.
At Stadium 974, “Pombo” encouraged his 61-year-old Brazil coach to perform his signature pigeon dance after his team scored.
As Ronaldo played back footage of Tite’s exertion, Richarlison said, “His back’s still a touch rigid, but he will loosen up!”
