He initiated a conversation with the pacer, urging him to put an end to their feud, and the two reconciled with a heartfelt embrace. This reconciliation was evident during the IPL 2024 match between RCB and LSG in Bengaluru, where Kohli and Naveen were seen sharing smiles and engaging in friendly conversation.
Similarly, Kohli and Gambhir’s rivalry took a turn towards reconciliation during a strategic timeout in the 17th season contest between Kolkata Knight Riders and Bengaluru. With Gambhir serving as the mentor of KKR, he approached Kohli, who was batting at the time, and exchanged words before sharing a warm embrace. Their interaction was characterized by laughter and mutual respect.
“People may be disappointed that I’ve resolved my differences with Naveen and Gambhir, but now there won’t be any sensational headlines about us,” Kohli remarked on the matter.
