The teams or franchises which are going to be the part of Indian Premier League 2022 are Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Gujarat Titans & Lucknow Super Giants. As I mentioned above two more franchises, whose names are mentioned above will be part of the IPL 2022. These two new teams’ and eight old teams’ players list is provided in this writing.
IPL 2022 Venues:
A total of 70 league matches will be played across four international standard venues in Mumbai and Pune. The venue for the playoff matches will be decided later.
- 4 matches : – DY Patil Stadium and Wankhede Stadium,mumbai each match at this vanue.
- 3 matches : Brabourne Stadium (CCI) and MCA International Stadium, Pune each match at this vanue.
- The 10 teams will play a total of 14 league matches (7 home matches and 7 away matches) totalling 70 league matches, followed by the 4 playoff matches.
IPL Cricket Match Schedule 2022 & Time Table (By Date)
The IPL Schedule 2022 by BCCI is here for all the T20 match list that is set to begin on 26th March 2022. IPL 2022 schedule begins in March and the final will be played on Sunday May 29, 2022. There are total of 74 matches that also include 2 qualifiers and 1 eliminator and then the finals. These matches will be played between Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants. Each team will play twice or once based on the their position in the virtual groups.
IPL Cricket Match 2022 Match Date & Time
With a total of 10 teams and 5 teams in each group, each team will play 14 matches in the group stage before playoffs. In 2022 edition of IPL, each team will be playing 4 teams from their group twice then 4 teams from the other group once & one team from the other group twice.

IPL 2022 Groups Announced, CSK And MI Divided Into 2 Separate Groups
IPL 2022 Groups List Grounded on the trophy count all 10 teams and appearances in finals, teams are divided into 2 groups of 5 teams each. If a team failed to lift a trophy their final appearance count is taken to allocate their position in the group.
KKR, who won the trophy for a couple of times has been placed in the second position of Group A, whereas SRH who won the trophy in 2016 has been placed at the second position of Group B.
Each team will play twice with the teams in their group and with the team in the same row in the second group. With the rest of the teams in the second group they will play only once during the season.
