Speaking on BCCI TV, Mohammed Shami and Umran Malik were frank with one another. The two discussed the former’s outstanding performance in the second One-Day International between New Zealand and India.
Following the completion of the second ODI between India and New Zealand on January 21 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mohammed Shami and Umran Malik recently engaged in frank conversation. After India’s resounding victory over the Blackcaps, the players engaged in an open and sincere discussion.
In the second ODI, Shami was named Player of the Match for his outstanding performance, which included three important dismissals and the removal of two of the New Zealand team’s top batsmen. After a flurry of early wickets from Shami, Mohammed Siraj, and Hardik Pandya, the opposition was left hanging on 15 runs with half of their lineup in the pavilion.
After easily dispatching New Zealand’s batting order, Shami sat down with rising star Umran for an informal discussion on bcci.tv. Umran questioned the seasoned fast bowler about the key to his ODI cricket success.
Smile rakho, white ball hai, maar to sabko padni hai, added Shami, who appeared to be in a good mood.
Keep smiling; everyone will be struck since it’s white ball cricket. Bas apne pe believe karo, apne skill pe believe karo, and bas jo wicket mein ho raha hai. Simply have faith in your abilities and attempt to break the wicket a little.
Currently, India and New Zealand are playing each other in white-ball cricket. There are three ODIs and three T20Is left in New Zealand’s current trip. India has a commanding lead in the ODI series and leads 2-0 going into the third match of the series in Indore.
The first matchup between the teams was exciting since it was a high-scoring contest that India narrowly prevailed in by 12 runs. The second ODI, however, was a mostly one-sided contest as India easily won by eight wickets.
